Hi all. how would it be if we could give away user name changes or spare premium memberships?

what I mean is that say if a person has three years of premium membership, they could give away one, leaving them with two. same for the username changes? just a thought.

I like that, but who in their right mind would do that, I know people would do that to be nice, but people might also ask what is the point of doing that after they just spent 75 bucks for it. I wouldn't mind it personally, but others might.

all i'm saying is that if you have premium memberships you want to give away, you should be able to, after all, you bought them right? a kind of transferable membership? yes there could be safeguards, like a three day cooling off period after you make the transaction, with emails sent to your xone pm saying, "on x date, you transfered 1 year of your three remaining years of premium membership to y user, are you sure you want to do this? if you ignore this message your year of membership will transfer on Y date. then those who feel they regret their choice can cancel it.

it wouldn't need amuch coding either me thinks, as the buy one for a friend feature is already there in the premium membership purchase system. all that needs to be done in my view, and i'm no programmer, is to fill in that premium membership has been paid for, add one to the nominated non premium account, and subtract one from the premium account holder.

So if you want to give your friend a free membership/user name change, why not just use the buy one for a friend feature? While it may be a nice thing to add, how many people would actually utilize the feature? What I'm saying is that is it really worth the time it would take to set something like this up?
